In practice, I'll arrive to shoot the story-telling of the details important to you and the latter stages of bridal party preparations (and, ideally, groomsmen, if the itinerary of your day, venue, and distance allows - you might be in different places). We can chat about whether your arrangements might mean you'd benefit from a second photographer too.

I will stay until at least the cake cutting and first dance, but also some of the dancing beyond if that's your vibe!

There's no "...some many hours of this, some many of that..." here, so long as we're clear on your expectations of style and, most importantly, we have created a written plan of must-have shots (I'll take you through this in consultation).

I will capture the ceremony as unobtrusively as possible, with your venue space in mind.

We'll look in detail at the must-haves of your wedding party and family shots after the ceremony and the timings required for elegance, to encounter the best light, and secure those heirloom shots! The size of your family will dictate the time I need here, but do allow a good 30-45 minutes.

The evening reception is time for more candids...before I steal you away for a sunset shoot of roughly half an hour...

This leaves the cake cutting and first dance...or the other way round depending on time of year.

What is the booking process and beyond?

• Use the contact form and calendar on here (or alternatively, email me at tom@champagneshutter.com, or call me on 07738 620485) to arrange a chat. Please aim to provide details about you and your partner and families. Do you have proposed date, venue, package in mind?

• Consultation in person or online - let's get to know one another and give you a feel for whether we're the right fit!

• Booking requires both: a 50% deposit & a signed contract before I can secure your date.

• We can arrange a complimentary engagement/couple's shoot so you can get a feel for my style, and potentially get some good material for online, wall art, or even your wedding invites! *Whilst a 2 and a half hr shoot (approx.) is included, please note any prints or wall art are subject to charge. For a limited time, this couple's shoot can come before the commitment to book.

• The full amount and questionnaire is due 2 months prior to the wedding date; at this point, we've been planning together a long while, and will have our final consultation meeting to chase logistics, itinerary and timings to ensure there is enough time to document your memories. We will, of course, have kept in touch and corresponded in the meantime, with written plans to fill me in on your family dynamics and must-haves for the day.
